One of our major clients, BENCHMARK®, a global hospitality company, partners with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America as their signature charity. As an in-kind contribution, they offered resort stays to the “Littles” and their families. They asked us to promote the altruistic initiative.
The big picture understanding during our research came from the fact that, for many of the children who are in challenged parent/guardian situations, summer is a lonely, at-risk time, as opposed to the carefree and fun experience it is for other kids. This inspired the narrative for a 60-second short film distributed on social media channels, as well as the BBBSA and Benchmark websites, which bolstered the image of both entities.
